About
My career began in 2008 when I joined my marketing professor's agency analyzing focus group studies for jewelry stores. This experience made me realize I could lace my passions (writing and design) with my career. Since then, I have been lucky to lead in-house marketing for a multi-location gym, which led me to launch Zettist—an award-winning content marketing house in San Diego—in 2016.
It's with Zettist that I have had a chance to work alongside some of the country's brightest creatives and partner with people-first brands as their marketing arm. Our partnerships have stretched from major universities, government-funded organizations, flavor and print manufacturers, to fitness and wellbeing brands and beyond.
When I am not working with my team at Zettist, I am dreaming up and designing properties alongside my husband at Devan Properties, baking, traveling, hiking, writing, and—most importantly—creating memories with my brilliant, kind, and inspiring daughter.
Oh, and to answer some FAQs, my name is Jana (Jay-nah) Devan (Day-van), née Dennison, and my business Zettist is pronounced Zett-ist. Why the name? Well, you’ll have to follow Zettist for that.
